Stamford Art Association

The Stamford Art Association is supported by grants from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, Connecticut Humanities, the City of Stamford and the Kuriansky Foundation and generous donations from individual artists and friends. Their mission as an arts organization is to provide a forum where emerging and professional artists can exhibit their work and engage with other artists, community organizations and the public while providing art and educational programs.

Streetwise Boulder, CO

Based in Colorado, Street Wise Arts is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to building vibrant communities through public art.

There Mission: We support artists and communities by creating public art projects, educational programs, and events that amplify cultural diversity and social justice.

What We Do:

Mural Festivals: We organize festivals that explore the intersection of art and activism by installing murals and public art that encourage community conversations.
Mural Commissions: We connect artists with local communities and businesses to create impactful murals that support their social initiatives.
Mural Tours: We offer guided walking, biking, and private tours that share the stories behind the artists and their murals.

RiNo Art District, formerly Crush The Wall-Denver

The RiNo Art District is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit that supports a diverse and thriving creative community. We are comprised of five historic Denver neighborhoods: Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Five Points, and Cole.

Over the past decade, we have worked to fund and support the local Denver community through advocacy, infrastructure improvements, and community programming. We are dedicated to providing support for artists, businesses, and residents, and fostering a creative environment where everyone can thrive. Open Studio, Boulder 2024

Open Studios is a visual arts organization that works to advance and enrich the arts in the Boulder community. Since 1995, we have expanded to include several programs designed to promote the role of artists and bring art to the community. Follow @openstudiosboulder

Open Studios Tour: Our flagship event is a three-weekend studio tour that attracts over 8,000 visitors. Patrons can meet artists, learn about their processes, and purchase art.
Membership Program: We provide year-round activities and benefits for artists to promote their work, including retail gallery consignment, teaching opportunities, and exhibitions.
Boulder Plein Air Festival: Juried artists from across the country spend a week capturing Boulder's scenery on canvas. Their work is then exhibited and sold.
Retail Galleries: We operate a permanent gallery in Boulder featuring our members' work, along with temporary POP! Gallery pop-ups.
EdLinks Art Education: This program connects professional artists with public school teachers to provide free classroom instruction and demonstrations.
Mobile Art Lab: We bring art supplies and guidance to festivals and events, encouraging both children and adults to explore their creativity. The lab also facilitates community-building projects in underserved neighborhoods.
Virginia Wood Fund: This fund provides micro-grants to Boulder County artists who are facing financial challenges.
